Spring in our step!

The Rabbits have kicked off this term by being animal detectives, they are learning about British wild animals.  They have been exploring animal habitats; bird watching, making bird feeders and are currently making a wild animal display.

The Dragonflies are learning all about Chocolate this half term!  The children are enjoying finding out how chocolate is made and what journey the cocoa bean has to make before it gets to our tummies!  In Science, the Dragonflies have been learning all about the body and have been super at naming some unusual bones in our bodies.  They also enjoyed going to see the Twits at the Curve with year 3.

The Otters are going back in time and learning all about Ancient Greece!  They have made a collage for Greek pots and have been learning about the important buildings that you would have found in a typical Greek town.  The Otters have been making recipes that contain Greek ingredients.  Last week they made a Greek salad and this week they made Gigants which is a butter bean dish.
